We live in two types of worlds:
- The worlds that are constructed for us;
- The worlds that we build for ourselves.
My whole life journey is about trying to figure out which world I am in AND how to build the bridges to span the gaps between them. Like islands in the ocean, you can either get there by navigating a craft or building a bridge.
I have tried both.
One is a process of discovery, with many changes in direction needed and a guiding light. And it is a different experience every time the journey is made.
The other way is to build a bridge. It takes a tremendous amount of resources. But once it is done, a permanent connection is made and the trip between islands is always the same and takes up less of my resources. Traversing the islands is a lot simpler if the bridge is already built and the energy sapping need for navigation is no longer needed.
